Cleansing Heart is about the surreal power of the heart to wash away our traumas, fears and demons. It is also about our ability to clear away the faults, fears and pain of others through our perceptions of them and the colour and love we bring into their lives. Breathe is about our ever-changing, interdependent relationship with nature and what it means to be human. Trees are the human heart of the physical world - without them we cannot breathe. Inspired from the spiritual idea that 'even in times of war, do not uproot the trees'.
This work was exhibited at the Gallery Different, London, for the 'All Our Hearts Beat As One' Exhibition in October 2016, to support the Heart Stem Cells Foundation amongst other exhibitions.

'Flower talk in lockdown' was made while shielding in 2020 and the result of 13 years work. It is the second work in the flower talk collection, a continuation of the work called 'Flower talk'. This work comprises of a delicate collage made from oil pastel paintings that were printed and cut. 'Flower talk in lockdown' is about the conversations plants and flowers have in the home. They talk about the people that surround them, and how mental health, relationships and living spaces change for better or worse during lockdown.

This tiny beautiful,, delicate, soft-pastel, painting in the special mother and child series is a heartfelt exploration of mother leaving child,. Saba used soft pastels because life becomes dust. the proceess of pastel against paper, mimics life friction and fragility. The medium was inspired by Abrahamic concepts: 'ashes to ashes, dust to dust' and that 'mankind is shaped from clay'.
